Cairo: Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to achieve de-escalation in the region and restore the diplomatic track between Iran and the United States.

This was in a phone call on Saturday, during which the two sides emphasized the importance of adhering to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) previously reached between Washington and Tehran, as to create an environment conducive to reaching comprehensive and sustainable understandings that could, in turn, contribute to solidifying regional security and stability.
