Doha, Qatar: In implementation of the directives of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has responded urgently, in collaboration with the Qatar International Search and Rescue Group affiliated with the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) and the Qatar Red Crescent, by launching an air bridge consisting of 6 aircraft headed to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The air bridge is in support of those affected by the earthquake, coming as as part of the State of Qatar's humanitarian efforts aimed at ensuring a rapid response to disasters, alleviating the suffering of affected communities, and supporting brotherly and friendly countries in addressing humanitarian crises.
