Doha, Qatar: Focus International Qatar Region recently celebrated India Independence Day in an event that emphasised patriotism and co-existence among all groups in the society.
As part of the celebrations for Independence Day, President of Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), AP Manikandan (pictured) inaugurated the event titled “We the People” put on by youth organisation.
Addressing the gathering, Manikandan lauded the many individuals that gave their lives in the war for independence.
Also speaking at the event were Salim Nalakat (KMCC), EM Sudhir (Samskriti Qatar), Dr. Taj Aluwa (Cultural Forum), KN Sulaiman Madani (Qatar Indian Islahi Centre), Ashraf Nannamukk (Incas Qatar), and other notable individuals.
The event was overseen by Focus International Qatar Region CFO Safeerussalam, and it contained a presentation from Events Manager Moideen Sha.
Admin Manager Ameenur Rahman AS and Marketing Manager Hamad Bin Siddique, also spoke at the event.
