Washington: Joe Biden, the former US Vice President and Democratic Party candidate for the upcoming US presidential elections, accused Russia of seeking to try to interfere with the US presidential elections in November.
"We know from before, and I guarantee you that I know now because now I get briefings again. The Russians are still engaged in trying to delegitimize our electoral process. Fact," Biden said.
China is also carrying out activities aimed at making undermining confidence in the results of the 2020 elections, he added.
Biden warned Moscow that there will be "a real price to pay" if he wins the presidency.
Democrats accused Russia of interfering in the 2016 presidential election, providing support to the then-Republican candidate, and the incumbent president, Donald Trump, which Trump strongly denied, and Russia also denied it.
Biden spent 36 years in the Senate before becoming Vice President for Barack Obama in 2008, and this is his third attempt to win the presidential race.
