Doha, Qatar: The Pakistani Mango Exhibition and its products will officially open on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif.
Organised by the Celebrations Committee at the Private Engineering Office (PEO), in cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the State of Qatar, the exhibition will run for ten consecutive days until July 18.
The third edition will feature some of Pakistan's most celebrated mango varieties, including Sindhri, Chaunsa, White Chaunsa, Azeem Chaunsa (Rati Wala), Black Chaunsa (Kala Chaunsa), Anwar Ratol, Dussehri, Fajri, Ratol No. 12, and Lal Badshah, all widely recognized for their exceptional quality, distinctive flavours and international reputation.
The exhibition will also witness the largest participation since the exhibition's launch, with more than 30 Pakistani companies, including exhibitors arriving directly from Pakistan alongside locally based Pakistani businesses.
More than 30 restaurants are expected to offer a wide variety of Pakistani pickles, desserts, traditional dishes and food products, highlighting the richness and diversity of Pakistan's mango-related food industry.
The exhibition will not be limited to mangoes alone as visitors will also have the opportunity to explore a selection of Pakistan's seasonal fruits, including apricots, peaches, jamun and chikoo, which together represent approximately 20% of the products on display.
Commenting on the occasion, Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi, General Supervisor of the 3rd Pakistani Mango Exhibition and Its Products, said "We are proud to organize this event for the third consecutive year following the tremendous success of the previous two editions. When the exhibition was first launched, it was intended as a one-time event. However, the overwhelming public response and remarkable success encouraged us to develop it into an annual event that visitors now eagerly anticipate."
"This year's edition features the largest participation since the exhibition began, both in terms of exhibitors and product diversity. In cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, we have focused on presenting a carefully selected collection of Pakistan's finest mango varieties, emphasizing exceptional quality and offering visitors the opportunity to discover some of the country's most celebrated produce," he added.
Al Suwaidi noted that each edition of the exhibition has witnessed continuous growth in visitor numbers and sales, reflecting the outstanding reputation the event has built both within Qatar and abroad.
He expressed confidence that this year's edition will set new attendance and sales records, particularly following the tremendous success of the 3rd Indian Mango Exhibition held in June 2026, emphasizing that the exhibition offers far more than a marketplace, providing visitors with a comprehensive cultural experience that introduces them to Pakistan's finest mango varieties, their unique characteristics, and the traditions surrounding their cultivation and culinary use.
Al Suwaidi concluded by inviting the public to visit the exhibition from its opening days to discover Pakistan's finest mango varieties, explore products being introduced to the Qatari market for the first time, and enjoy a unique cultural and gastronomic experience in the distinctive heritage atmosphere of Souq Waqif.
Preparations for the exhibition began more than four months ago in coordination with the relevant authorities and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. A fully air-conditioned exhibition tent measuring approximately 100 metres in length and 30 metres in width has been installed at Souq Waqif's Eastern Square to provide exhibitors and visitors with a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The exhibition will welcome visitors daily from 4pm to 10pm throughout its duration, offering a wide range of services and facilities to ensure an enjoyable shopping and family entertainment experience.
This year's exhibition places greater emphasis on education and awareness by introducing visitors to the characteristics of Pakistan's most famous mango varieties and their various culinary applications.
The event will also showcase innovative mango-based products, with the participation of renowned chefs from Pakistan and restaurants across Qatar presenting creative recipes, desserts, beverages and specialty dishes inspired by mangoes.
