Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Sunday highlighted a Metrash service that allows users to submit security information confidentially to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), aiming to enhance rapid response and strengthen public security.
In a video posted on its social media platforms, the ministry said users can easily provide security-related information through the Metrash application without visiting a service center.
To use the service, users should select the ‘Security’ icon from the Metrash home page, navigate to ‘Security Complaint,’ choose the ‘Criminal Investigation Department,’ and then select ‘Provide Information’ as the request type.
The service allows users to report several types of information, including suspicious vehicles, suspicious persons, suspicious establishments, suspicious residences, and suspected criminal activities.

The ministry said the service is part of efforts to strengthen shared responsibility for security by making the submission of information through Metrash faster, easier, and more effective.
