Charge d’Affaires at the United States Embassy in the State Natalie Baker stressed that her country is honored to partner with Qatar in promoting security, stability, and prosperity throughout the region and beyond, as the United States and Qatar share a strong belief in justice, freedom, and the strengthening of international peace through diplomatic means.
In an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the occasion of the National Day, she said “The recent 2021 Strategic Dialogue showcased the many fields in which our two countries cooperate, including health, climate change and energy, international development, labor, law enforcement, counterterrorism, culture, and education.
The Charge d’Affaires at the US Embassy expressed her pride to partner with Qatar for the 2021 Year of Culture that included programs of music, arts, business, and sports exchanges, looking forward to celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations in 2022.
“These engagements, and many others, will continue to deepen the relationship between our two countries and foster new and lasting friendships among the people of the United States and Qatar,” she added.

National day is an opportunity to honor the past while celebrating the future and Qatar has always done both, she said, adding that the people of Qatar value their traditions and history, and work to preserve that history for generations to come.
