Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt H E Amr Kamal El Din El Sherbiny praised the great strides that the Egyptian-Qatari relations are witnessing on the right path towards strengthening cooperation between the two countries, as relations between Egypt and Qatar are witnessing a tangible and active movement towards strengthening them for the benefit of the two countries and peoples, and supporting for joint Arab action.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the occasion of the State’s National Day, His Excellency stressed the close historical ties between Qatar and Egypt, looking forward to further progress and success for the sisterly State of Qatar in all fields.
He praised the successful organisation of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021, considering it a model of what the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be, noting the accuracy of Qatari preparations, and the important and pioneering experience they represent in their ability to organize major tournaments.
Amr Kamal El Din El Sherbiny extended his sincere congratulations to the State of Qatar on the occasion of its celebration of the National Day, praising in this context the renaissance witnessed by the State of Qatar in all sectors.
His Excellency said: “On this occasion, I would like to express my happiness to be here in Qatar, and in this new and important phase of the Egyptian-Qatari relations, in which we look forward to strengthen our cooperation in various fields.”
