Charge dAffairs at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina H E Ivana Pejovic said that the bilateral relations are strong, based on friendship and brotherhood that have been maintained through exchange of visits between officials of the two countries at the highest levels and documented by the signing of many agreements and bilateral cooperation protocols.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), she said “We hope to see that economic cooperation expands significantly in the coming period in all sectors.”
Through the past decades, Qatar has emerged into a modern, prosperous state whose citizens via mutual trust and loyalty enjoy prosperity and security, thanks to Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the wise government, she said.
“This special day provides the citizens and residents a chance to renew the sense of pride, unity and appreciation to the developments and achievements that have been made socially, economically, and politically.
This also gives a confident glimpse at the application of Qatar Vision 2030, proving that gradual progress is more important than instant perfection,” she said, adding “I would like to take this delightful occasion to confirm our commitment to strengthen cooperation between our two brotherly states and continuous dialogue for the shared values and common goals.”
Ivana Pejovic also praised the preventive and precautionary measures taken by Qatar to confront COVID-19, saying “despite the global pandemic that affects each part of the world, Qatar has been devoting and investing great efforts and funds to fight the pandemic and save its peoples lives.
Thanks to its strategic policies, timely statistics and digital platforms, Qatar has managed to control the coronavirus, to successfully resist to its new variants and keep it in a distance. Beside its own difficulties with the pandemic, Qatar has also helped other countries in need with aids and donations.”
