The Al Rayyan Municipality carried out an inspection campaign on markets and found illegal street vendors in the public parking area outside Al Sailiya Central Market.
The violators were referred to the relevant authorities and legal measures were taken against them, said the Ministry of Municipality in a statement on Twitter.
The campaign is part of the efforts of the Municipality in cooperation with concerned authorities in the country "to preserve the health and safety of consumers".
