Doha, Qatar: Qatar has strongly condemned the attack and vandalism of Jordanian ambassador’s residence in Khartoum, stressing the importance of providing protection to diplomatic missions as well as arresting the perpetrators and bringing them to justice.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Ministry if Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s position calling for an immediate end to the fighting in Sudan, exercising maximum restraint, resorting to reason, upholding public interest, and sparing civilians the consequences of fighting.
The statement also expressed Qatar’s hope that all parties would pursue dialogue and peaceful means to overcome differences.
