Ideal Indian School (IIS) held a three-day refresher program for its teachers before the school reopened for students after summer vacation.
Education Evangelist Meenakshi Oberoi, the founding director De Pedagogics, a certified Microsoft Innovative educator, held a session on the ways to incorporate technology in the classroom so as to enable students to face the 21st century goals.
Karthik of the P E department had a fruitful and interactive talk on the ways to stay healthy. He gave useful tips on the teachers related and much neglected health issue of teachers. Principal Syed Shoukath Ali also addressed the teachers.
The teachers were given orientation by Navinder Kaur from S Chand Publications, on the use of DS digital software in the everyday classroom lessons. The teachers workshop was coordinated by the academic coordinator and Asst. Headmistress Khatija T C.
