Qatar Automobiles Company announced that a 2004 Mitsubishi Pajero belonging to Amro Abd Al Hamid achieved a record milestone by crossing 532,000km over the past seven years with no history of any mechanical failure.
With a notably high mileage of more than half a million kilometres, the Pajero performed flawlessly in the tough environment of Qatar. Reflecting the high maintenance standards set by the QAC’s service centres and the high quality standards of Mitsubishi cars, the engine and transmission has never been opened during its operating lifetime.
“I have had my Pajero for almost seven years now, I had all maintenance performed by QAC and until now, I only did oil changes when the wrench glowed on the dash.
“I had no problems at all. It drives like the first day I got it, and goes in desert like nothing I have ever seen,” said Al Hamid.
