Doha, Qatar: Public Works Authority, Ashghal, announced a temporary closure on part of Al-Eshaiqer Street in both directions, starting Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 6pm for three days, to complete the asphalt layer works.
During this time, road users of Al-Eshaiqer will be required to use Riffa Street, Street 1152, or Al Khor Road, then use local roads to reach their destinations.
Another road closure was also announced on part of Izghawa Street, in one direction from its intersection with New Al Hateem Street to Zekreet Street, on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 12am to 6pm, to conduct the final asphalt layer works.
During this time, users of Izghawa Street will be required to turn left towards the street known as New Al Hateem Street then use Jassim bin Thani bin Jassim Al Thani Street, then Zekreet Street to reach their destinations, as shown in the map above.
