Paris: Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met yesterday, during Her Excellency’s current visit to France, with members of the Qatari-French Friendship Committee in the French Parliament.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, and ways to develop partnerships in various fields, especially international development. They also discussed regional developments, especially in Syria, Afghanistan and Sudan, in addition to a number of issues of joint interest. The two sides affirmed the continuation of joint efforts to support and enhance the distinguished relations between the two countries.
Separately, the H E Al Khater also met yesterday, during her current visit to France, with members of the GCC-French Friendship Committee at the French Senate. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, especially the French-Qatari partnerships in the fields of energy, sports, investment, and development.
The two sides praised the successful cooperation between the State of Qatar and the French Republic in securing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2023.
