Josoor Institute’s ‘The Business of Football’ course concludes

This course was the second set of courses hosted by Josoor Institute in September, during which almost 130 individuals have taken part from organisations across Qatar and the Middle East. A team of internationally renowned experts were invited to speak to delegates who are central to the future development of football in Qatar and the MENA region, speakers included Dr Medlej and Dr Sue Bridgewater from University of Liverpool. Josoor Institute’s next set of short courses will take place in November, the focus of these courses will be on providing an understanding on the diverse media landscape, the significance of creating sustainability for major sports and events, and a course providing practitioners within the sports and events industries an understanding of the legal environment and its unique needs. There are six short courses scheduled by Josoor Institute until March 2015. Josoor Institute will also soon be introducing a set of long courses early next year, which will offer professional certificates and diplomas.
