DOHA: The Philippine broadcast company, GMA Network (GMA), yesterday launched MyGMA package of channels via Ooredoo, as part of its strategy to strengthen its broadcast services in Qatar.
GMA and Mozaic TV, Ooredoo’s entertainment service, will offer Filipinos in Qatar access to latest news, public affairs and entertainment programs.
GMA Vice-President and Head of International Operations, Joseph Francia, said: “We look forward to this partnership with Ooredoo Qatar as it furthers our goal of reaching more Filipinos across the globe.
“Through quality programmes that showcase the best the Philippines has to offer, we hope to bring our kabayans in Qatar closer to home.”
Ooredoo customers will be offered new programmes through GMA’s three international channels.
GMA Pinoy TV, GMA’s flagship international channel, will offer serials such as upcoming drama Ang Dalawang Mrs Real with Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, Lovi Poe, and Diamond Star Maricel Soriano; the heartwarming soap Niño, and Primetime Queen Marian Rivera’s dance programme, Marian.
GMA Life TV, the first international Filipino lifestyle channel, boasts of entertaining programmes such as Basta Every Day Happy with Alessandra de Rossi, Gladys Reyes, Donita Rose, and celebrity chef Boy Logro; Mars, a lifestyle talk show hosted by Camille Prats and SuziEntrata-Abrera; and Sarap Diva, a cooking show hosted by the Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
GMA News TV International will provide its international audience with updates on the Philippines. Its line-up of programmes includes award-winning newscast State of the Nation with Jessica Soho and documentary show Reel Time.
