Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour urged the public to remain vigilant against fraudulent links, emails and phone calls aimed at obtaining personal and financial information.
The Ministry advised individuals to verify the source of links before clicking on them and to avoid sharing passwords or verification codes with any party.
It stressed that official entities will never request sensitive information such as banking details, passwords or verification codes via email or messaging services.
The Ministry also warned against responding to messages or calls requesting urgent money transfers, and urged the public not to share personal or banking information with unofficial parties.
It emphasised that all official electronic services are provided exclusively through authorized platforms ending with “mol.gov.qa”.
The ministry called on the public to report any suspicious communications immediately by contacting its hotline at 16505 or via email at [email protected].
It added that prompt reporting contributes to enhancing cybersecurity awareness and protecting the community from fraud.
