DOHA: The National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) has honoured H E Jassim Seif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport and Chairman of Mowasalat, in recognition of his efforts in support of human rights.
Khalid Nasser Al Hail, Mowasalat CEO, received the recognition certificate awarded by NHRC, on behalf of the minister.
“The principles of human rights are not mere hollow slogans, but rather a mainstay and a pillar asserting the Qatari people’s nature, which is based on generosity and tolerant morals. I seize this opportunity to extend thanks and appreciation to NHRC, which has been, and will continue, to fulfill its significant role in this domain, with honesty, credibility and transparency,” said the Minister.
Khalid Nasser Al Hail, said this recognition “demonstrated the established guidelines that Mowasalat (Karwa) has set forth in promoting principles of human rights as an integral part of the organization’s culture.”
