Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held this evening a reception ceremony for Their Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses leaders of sisterly and friendly nations, and head of delegations participating at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at Al Bayt Stadium.
The reception ceremony was attended by the Personal Representative of HH the Amir HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
The attendees include HM King Abdullah II bin Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria HE Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt HE Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the State of Palestine HE Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Republic of Turkey HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The ceremony was also attended by HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, HH Representative of HH the Amir of the State of Kuwait Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, HRH Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Hussein bin Abdullah II, HH Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, HH Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, HH Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Sultanate of Oman and Representative of HM the Sultan of Oman Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, HE Caretaker Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon Najib Mikati.

The ceremony was also attended by FIFA President Gianni Infantino. HH the Amir discussed with Their Majesties, Their Excellencies, and Their Highnesses a number of topics pertaining to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. HH the Amir welcomed them in Qatar, wishing them a good stay and the participating teams well in the competition.
