H E Reem bint Mohammed Al Mansoori, member of the Shura Council and Ambassador of the Women Political Leaders in the State of Qatar, participating in a meeting on improving healthcare for women around the globe.
Doha: The Shura Council participated in a meeting, held via videoconferencing, titled “Virtual Round Table: Universal Health Coverage: Bridging the Screening Gap for Women,” which involved the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) and Women in Global Health (WGH).
The meeting discussed a number of topics that concern women in the world, including how to provide women with the highest levels of healthcare, the obstacles preventing women and girls from obtaining the necessary medical examinations, and how to fix health systems of countries by including medical examinations for women in budgets and health services.
The Shura Council was represented in the meeting by H E Reem bint Mohammed Al Mansoori, a member of the Council and Ambassador of the Women Political Leaders in Qatar.
