Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani held a phone call with Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs of the Republic of South Africa H E Nkosazana Clarice Dlamini Zuma, during which he expressed his condolences on the victims of floods that hit KwaZulu-Natal province.
The Prime Minister wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The call also dealt with reviewing bilateral relations and the means to enhance them.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani also held a telephone call with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Africa H E Naledi Pandor, during which His Excellency expressed the State of Qatar’s condolences to the government and the people of the Republic of South Africa on the victims of floods that hit the country recently, expressing his hopes of a swift recovery to the injured.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed, during the call, his confidence that South Africa can address the humanitarian crisis.
The call also dealt with bilateral relations, and the means to enhance them.
