Doha: Qatar’s Ministry of Culture has announced plans to organise a week-long cultural trip to Shanghai for children aged 10 to 15, as part of efforts to broaden young people’s global exposure.
The visit, scheduled for March 22-28, is being arranged by the Nomas Centre and will include tours of museums, major landmarks and cultural institutions in the Chinese city.
Participants will also visit factories to gain insight into industrial and technological development, alongside interactive activities designed to promote teamwork and independence.
Ghanem Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, director of the Nomas Centre, described the programme as a comprehensive educational experience aimed at expanding students’ horizons while reinforcing their sense of national identity.
