President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Maithripala Sirisena, with Qatar’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Dr Rashid bin Shafea Al Marri.
The President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Maithripala Sirisena met with Qatar’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Dr Rashid bin Shafea Al Marri. During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to President Maithripala Sirisena and His Highness wishes of good health and happiness to the President and to the government and people of the Republic of Sri Lanka more progress and prosperity.
For his part, the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka entrusted the Ambassador to convey his greetings to H H the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness and the State of Qatar continuous progress, development and prosperity. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, ways of supporting and developing them and a number of issues of common interest.
