DOHA: Shares in Qatar's Mesaieed Petrochemical surged in heavy trade on Thursday after MSCI said it had added the stock to its MSCI All-Country World Index.
Mesaieed's shares were up 7.1 percent at 0639 GMT, having jumped as much as 10 percent - their daily limit - in early trade.
The stock's rise helped Doha's index climb 0.7 percent to 13,611 points, hitting a 10-week intra-day high. (Reuters)
