Paris: Six demonstrators and 20 police were injured on Tuesday in violence that erupted during a demonstration in Paris against controversial French labour reforms, police said.

Fifteen people were arrested during the latest in a series of union-led protests against a government bill that would allow bosses to bypass unions in negotiations with staff and make it easier to lay off workers during lean times.
