These monthly and continuous aids come throughout the year due to the great interest that the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation attaches to projects and initiatives inside Qatar, which occupies a large place on the charity’s priority map, based on its assumption of its social responsibilities that enhance its vision of “health and education for a better life.”
Health and Education
In view of the importance that the Foundation attaches to the fields of health and education, which reflect the vision of the Foundation, the Foundation has taken the initiative to provide financial support to many institutions and associations working in the health and educational fields with a total value of QR121,386.
The Foundation supported a number of people with chronic diseases and those in need of surgical intervention who were registered at Hamad General Hospital, and other forms of support that the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation is keen to provide for building a healthy society.
As a continuation of its qualitative efforts in supporting the educational process, the Foundation continues, relying on its self-financing, to support segments of students with limited income in pursuing their studies smoothly.
The month of April also witnessed the continuation of support for a number of civil society organizations, led by the Qatar Diabetes Association and the Aman Center, where the total support during the past month amounted to QR30,750.
Financial Aid
In the context of financial and in-kind assistance, the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation adopts a flexible and effective mechanism with the aim of reaching the largest segment of the needy groups inside Qatar and supporting their urgent needs of all kinds.
The Foundation provided financial and in-kind assistance amounting to QR711,086. The charitable and humanitarian efforts made by the Foundation were not limited to this point. Rather, the Foundation strengthened its community presence during the blessed month of Ramadan by providing aid worth QR792,625, which included the distribution of financial aid and food baskets on the occasion of the holy month.
Sustainable Initiatives
The charitable initiatives and projects implemented by the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation are characterized by sustainability due to their being self-financing, and devoting in their orientations the principle of social solidarity.
This is done by ensuring continuous social and health assistance to needy families and reducing their financial burden, as well as supporting the educational process for needy students.
