QU college signs deal with University of Copenhagen

Doha: Qatar University’s (QU) College of Arts and Sciences and University of Copenhagen’s Faculty of Science have signed a deal on cooperation in the education and research fields.
It was signed by college Dean, Dr Eiman Mustafawi, and University of Copenhagen Faculty of Science Dean, Dr John Hansen, in the presence of faculty and officials from both sides and representatives of Maersk Oil Research & Technology Centre. It includes collaboration in  academic and research and exchange of faculty and laboratory staff for instructional and training initiatives.
Dr Mustafawi said, “The deal will support QU’s vision to become a model national university in the region and promote Qatar National Vision 2030. It will also empower and engage students by building capacities and preparing them to become role models for future generations and ambassadors for the country.”
Dr Hansen said, “The partnership will help establish student exchange programmes and deepen cooperation in biological and environmental research.” The Peninsula
