Under the patronage of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, the competitions of the fourth edition of 2022 Nishan Vodafone Ramadan Tournament and Festival of accompanying games kicked off at the Lusail Shooting Range.
The opening ceremony on Monday was also attended by the QOC Secretary-General Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, Commander of Qatar Amiri Air Force Major General (Pilot) H E Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Commander of the Joint Special Forces, Staff Brigadier General H E Jassim bin Ali Al Attiyah, Mazzraty Executive Board Member Saad bin Mohammed Al Mane, President of the Qatar shooting and Archery Association Meshaal Ibrahim Al Nasr and a number of senior sport personalities.
The tournament will see more than 500 shooters in action.
