Doha: The General Directorate of Endowments of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs distributes 4,000 iftar meals on daily basis.
The Directorate distributed 1,000 meals in each of the following locations: Eid prayer area in Al Rayyan Al Qadeem, Eid prayer area in Al Aziziya, Al Asmakh area next to the Grand Mosque, and the Industrial area.
The locations for distributing iftar meals, which are provided through the 'Iftar Sa'im Endowment' project, are witnessing a great turnout from workers and individuals.
The General Directorate of Endowments designated certain places to receive those fasting and various Iftar meals are distributed to them, while taking into account security and safety requirements.
