CGB President and NPC Secretary-General H E Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa leading Qatari delegation at the meeting in Kuwait.
Kuwait: Qatar participated in the 21st meeting of the Ministers and Heads of Civil Service Authorities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in Kuwait, with the attendance of senior officials from the GCC member states.
The Qatari delegation was headed by President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB) and Secretary General of the National Planning Council (NPC) H E Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.
On the sidelines of the meeting, a ceremony was held to honour a number of distinguished Gulf talents in the civil service and administrative development sectors, during which Qatari professionals were awarded the GCC Medal in recognition of their efforts and contributions to the public sector.
The honourees from Qatar included the Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Assistant Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the Director of Housing and Government Buildings Affairs at CGB, Assistant Undersecretary for Agriculture and Food Security Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality, and the Assistant Secretary-General for Shared Services at the National Planning Council.
On this occasion, the CGB President expressed his pride in the honouring of Qatari professionals, affirming that this recognition reflects the GCC’s appreciation for their distinguished efforts in public service and their role in advancing administrative development and human capital growth in Qatar.
