Doha: The Minister of Municipality HE Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie met on Saturday with Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Municipality and FAO in the field of agriculture, livestock, fisheries and food security, as well as encouraging the utilization of technology and research in developing and increasing agricultural, livestock and fish productions.
The meeting touched on both the 10th edition of the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition 2023, organized by Qatar through the Ministry of Municipality, from March 15-19, and on the Expo 2023 Doha Qatar, to be held from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024.
