Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar ranked fourth globally in the Standard of Living Index, leading the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region within the 2026 Legatum Prosperity Index, a result that reflects the continued improvement in quality of life for both citizens and residents.

The State of Qatar also ranked eighth globally in the Development Index, which is measured through standard of living, health, and education combined, reflecting the country's progress in building advanced infrastructure for the essential services that underpin quality of life.

These results reflect the ongoing national efforts to implement the Third National Development Strategy, which serves as the executive tool for achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, placing social and human development at the heart of the country's journey toward a sustainable future.

This progress in development within the 2026 Legatum Prosperity Index stands as evidence of the success of the country's integrated development policies.
