Al Wakrah Clinics and Urgent Care Unit will initially open from 8am to 5pm, with a plan to operate the urgent care service 24x7 in the future. The new facility includes a procedure room, urgent care unit, pharmacy, radiology section, laboratory and clinics for internal medicine, dental, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and pediatric.
“This is the first branch of the Al-Ahli Hospital as part of the expansion plan. It has most of the clinics, so people in the surrounding areas do not need to go to the main hospital. Patients who need further treatment or surgery will be referred to the main hospital,” said Dr Wahab.

“Those who come for urgent care will be assessed, stabilised and transferred to the Al-Ahli Hospital or Al Wakrah Hospital depending on the patient’s condition,” he added. He also said that a day care clinic will open soon at the Al Wakrah Clinics and Urgent Care Unit of the Al-Ahli Hospital.
Al-Ahli Hospital is the largest private hospital in Qatar and provides all types of healthcare services under the theme ‘Love is the secret.’
