Lisbon--The Portuguese film director Manoel de Oliveira has died at the age of 106, producer Luis Urbano said on Thursday, quoting family sources.
The filmmaker, who was born in 1908, made more than 50 films, including features and documentaries, over the course of a career that began in 1931.
