Department of Meteorology warns of poor horizontal visibility tonight

Doha: Till Monday morning, the horizontal visibility will be poor according to daily weather report issued by Department of Meteorology, as it forecast “scattered clouds with chance of light rain at north.”

It will be “slightly dusty at times, misty to foggy at places by late night”, the department added, warning of poor visibility at places by late night.

Offshore, it will be misty with scattered clouds.

Wind inshore will be southeasterly at a speed of 06 to 16 knot.

Offshore, it will be southeasterly to easterly at a speed of 03 to 13 knot, gusting to 18 knot at north by evening.

Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers or 2 kilometers or less at some places by late night.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet surging to 4 feet at north by evening. Offshore, it will be 1 to 3 feet surging to 5 feet by evening.
