International conflicts must have a peace solution

People do not always have an easy way to achieve total wellbeing, during the existence of conflicts that arise leading to restricting the rights to live in harmony and peace, especially with neighbouring countries.

Throughout history, from the first organisations formed from the Sumerians, Assyrians, Akkadians, Babylonians and so on many led to several disagreements since the creation of these international organizations. Being originally from an Inca civilization, with an organization perfected for the good of its populations, fortunately, this civilization was not aliened to conflicts that led it to disappear politically at the beginning of the 16th century with the arrival of people outside of its culture.

They had to face, defend and dominate. However, against all these conflict situations, we believe that we have evolved, we have global international organizations such as the United Nations, an intergovernmental organization created to maintain the stability, sovereignty, and peace of countries in the world that plays a relevant role to contribute to conflict resolution. However, the process whose purpose is to solve a lack of intelligence that can come from ancient history, and without any justification for a stronger nation to prevail and oppress over the weaker. We are all born with the same rights and obligations.

Nobody assists the imposition of force and destruction on others. We must comply with the rule of law to preserve coexistence and never lose hope which will lead us to overcome any planetary crisis that arises under any circumstances or faced obstacles. No State can disobey an international obligation, which establishes an international responsibility to which it must respond to a world society, in which although there are interests, there is a precept that where there are organized societies there are written rights, and even in the customary law. We consider that mediation is one of the most important instruments for resolving conflicts, in this scenario we have witnessed how the State of Qatar has chosen this path with positive results, and aware of its own cultural and historical characteristics, elements that contribute to a support impartially; rather, of equanimity.

We cannot conceive that two nations, in current times, could destroy each other without having previously dialogued, only imposing forces, which certainly and many times - without justifying it - one country has a greater power to produce more damages. I believe that people have gone through similar situations; having experienced similar moments of difficulties that must already been resolved.

Our former Secretary General of the United Nations, Ambassador Javier Pérez de Cuellar, said in 1981 that “developed and developing countries need each other, that we must discard the simplifying and harmful concept that rich, and poor are separated by a spit so difficult to fill and that development and dependency are called to be permanent evils ... It must be understood that we must face it, without further delay, if we want to avoid the tragic eventuality that the problem becomes an uncontrollable source of confrontation”.

He also said that “Peace is a very complex concept, it is not only the cessation of hostilities or the absence of war ... Peace in its great definition is the well-being, the spiritual and economic well-being of all men.”

Let us seek that peace among those who have been in conflict for a long time and who find a solution to their discrepancies, with the support of other countries and international organizations, especially the United Nations-UN, whose main role is the preservation of peace. Without peace, the human being does not live; he only survives; that’s fair to us. We are convinced that adverse situations strengthen our convictions in the search for solutions; where we are, and other leaders will lend their valuable participation to the solution of confrontations of which we are concerned observers.

Let us hope that we reach a peaceful solution and that conflicts cease, and that the leaders and countries that intervene this objective are illuminated by the light of the Supreme. History will record the action of all those who in good faith participate in this purpose of peace.
