Doha: National Day is a glorious anniversary. It is a day when we remember with appreciation and gratitude the efforts made by the founder of our state and we pledge to follow his glorious legacy, and foundations he laid for the establishment of this strong nation, and a country capable to face challenges under its leadership, said Muneera Al Subaiey, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Qatar University.
December 18 is an important occasion to celebrate a significant milestone in the history of the State of Qatar, and affirm loyalty to the wise leadership of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, while following the path of the founder of the this nation.
It is a day when every Qatari reaffirms commitment to be guided by the principles and achievements of the founders and be united under the leaders while working to consolidate its national unity, regardless all difficulties and challenges faced by nation in course of its development. As Qataris, we learn much from this day a motivation to achieve our desired goals and renew our commitment that we will ensure the development of the Qatar University, as the nation’s biggest and highest academic and scientific institutions.
Therefore, the National day will remain the most important occasion in our life and history, from which all Qataris derive determination, strength, renewed ambition and a constant aspiration for a better tomorrow and a brighter future under the wise leadership of the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
