The State of Qatar has received messages of overwhelming support and solidarity following Iran’s missile strikes on Qatar’s Al-Udeid air base on June 23. The region and the world have been unanimous in their complete rejection of the breach of Qatar’s sovereignty. This reckless step could quickly escalate and embroil the whole region but Qatar has shown self-restraint and composure for the sake of regional peace and stability, a cause Doha has been committed to.

Response by the authorities ensured that there was no disruption to public life and business continued as usual.
