One of the most prestigious exhibitions in the region, Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE), is returning in a much grander version for its 20th edition this year. DJWE stands as a testament to the cultural significance associated with the world of haute jewellery and watchmaking. This annual event has evolved into a premier showcase for the finest creations from renowned international and regional designers, attracting aficionados, collectors, and industry experts from around the globe.
DJWE has grown leaps and bounds from its inception in 2004. As a key player in high-end jewellery and watches, DJWE has carved a niche as a hub where creativity converges with tradition. The exhibition provides a platform for established houses, emerging designers, and renowned brands to showcase their masterpieces, reflecting the ever-evolving landscape of luxury craftsmanship.
Qatar’s longest-running event will be held from February 5 to 11 2024 and will celebrate 20 years of glamour and excellence at the approximately 30,000sqm of the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
This year DJWE will witness significant participation of Indian and Turkish pavilions and 10 exhibitors under the Qatari Designers Pavilion. The big 8 for this edition are Al Fardan Jewellery, Al Majed Jewellery, Ali Bin Ali Luxury, Amiri Gems, Fifty One East, Al Muftah Jewellery, Blue Salon, and Bulgari.
Special pieces debuting for DJWE 2024 are Tiffany & Co 2024 Bird on a Pearl, bespoke piece the ‘High Jewellery’ necklace from Bulgari. A new range of ‘Qatar Limited Edition’ watches and new jewellery brands from AlMajed Jewellery and Blue Salon. Moreover, Phillips, a leading global platform for buying and selling 20th and 21st century art and design, will be present at this year’s DJWE. Phillips, in Association with Bacs & Russo, hold the world record for the most successful watch auctions.
