It also expresses the keen interest of the two sides to further strengthen their relations to broader horizons.
The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic H E Kyriakos Mitsotakis discussed during their official talks session ways to develop joint cooperation, especially in the economic and investment fields, and exchanged views on prominent regional and international issues. Based on the common desire of the State of Qatar and the Hellenic Republic to maintain excellent bilateral relations, officials of the two countries meet at various international forums to reaffirm the determination to enhance bilateral ties and cooperation in various fields for the benefit of the people and the countries.
The two countries have enhanced their bilateral ties by signing many agreements and memorandums of understanding in all fields of common interest, particularly in the fields of trade, media, air transport, military cooperation, tourism, culture, energy, investment, and liquefied natural gas, while the two sides stressed their determination to further enhance their cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the Qatari and Greek people.
The economic relations between the two countries are witnessing constant growth, as trade volume is increasing further while many Qatari investments in Greece in energy, tourism, hospitality, and real estate sectors are seeing continuous growth and several Greek companies are operating in the Qatari market in many sectors, particularly in construction. The will and desire of the leaderships of the two countries will support different economic sectors of the two countries to establish more business alliances between Qatari and Greek firms and enhance economic and business cooperation between the two nations.
