JOB seeking has never been so easy, thanks to the national employment platform ‘Kawader’ launched by the Ministry of Administrative Development Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA). The platform aims at providing citizens with the opportunity to obtain jobs that suit their qualifications in government bodies as well as private entities. Qatar seeks to provide jobs to national cadres in the government and private sectors as it works to raise the rate of Qatarization in the private sector to 60 percent by simplifying procedures, removing bureaucratic obstacles, and speeding up the completion of the conversion of all services provided to the public into electronic services. The Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs H E Yousuf Mohammed Al Othman Fakhroo said Kawader comes as a part of the efforts taken to enhance the Ministry’s role in registering and following up on employment for jobs seekers in the public and private sectors, as the number of recruitments for 2019 reached 3,570 job seekers.
H E The Minister called on job seekers of various qualifications and experience to take advantage of the services provided by Kawader through the link provided by the platform. Job seekers will be able to register on the platform as of August 24 this year. Around 4,800 jobs will be offered in all specialties of various scientific qualifications starting September. This number is subject to increase and includes all specializations and all qualifications. Kawader has been designed in an easy, scalable, and secure manner and adopts data confidentiality and secures privacy. The appointment of any employee is only for those registered with MADLSA.
H E the Minister noted that national cadres wishing to obtain jobs should complete academic education in areas that are compatible with the requirements of the labor market to ensure rapid access to suitable job opportunities, or join the government scholarship program or professional training programs that allow them to choose the required specializations in the labour market, which will ensure them to get the right job. It must be mentioned that last month Qatar Chamber announced that it has successfully developed its initiative called the Labor Re-employment Platform in a way that enables companies seeking to hire new employees to login to the platform and select their preferred candidates. It said that companies that are willing to make new hires could register on the platform contract them through MADLSA in accordance with the laws and procedures of the state.
