The whole country is celebrating with excitement 100 days countdown to FIFA World Cup Qatar that will be first FIFA World Cup in the Middle East and Arab World.

Special events are being held in three malls until today. Hamad International Airport (HIA) also celebrated the event with performances that can be seen on its official social media pages.

Also a huge number of crowd carrying “100 days to go” banners thronged at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Official Countdown Clock, powered by Hublot at Doha’s picturesque Corniche Fishing Spot.

“We have come such a long way in a relatively short space of time,” said Hassan Al Thawadi, Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC). “Hosting the World Cup has accelerated the development of our great country – in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. We have built incredible infrastructure, developed a world-class sports and events industry, and delivered human and social projects to benefit people in Qatar and around the world.”

Nasser Al Khater, CEO, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 LLC, said: “If you love football, this will be the place to be – and thanks to our compact nature, you’ll be able to attend more matches than ever before.”

Meanwhile, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy has offered cabin-style accommodations under fan villages to fans during FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. “Fan villages are one of the multiple options of the accommodation such as apartments & villas, hotels, cruise ship hotels for fans,” said Executive Director of Housing Department at Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) Omar Al Jaber.

He said that cabin-style accommodations will be available in three areas under fan villages at Qatar Free Zone, near Mall of Qatar and Lusail Multipurpose Hall. The locations of cabin-style accommodations were selected in a way to be close to metro stations enabling fans to use public transpiration during the mega sporting event.

With around 100 days to go before the FIFA Qatar World Cup 2022, Match Hospitality has reported that revenue for the upcoming tournament’s official hospitality program continues to grow at record levels.

Revenue is currently 29 percent higher than generated at the same time leading up to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, the tournament that set the current record for most hospitality packages sold to date for a sporting event.

Match Hospitality sales data for 2022 shows that Mexico, the United States, the United Kingdom (UK) and Argentina are currently the countries worldwide with the highest number of hospitality packages purchased for the upcoming tournament.
