Participants during the walkathon organised by Naseem Healthcare to raise awareness on breast cancer.
Doha: Naseem Healthcare conducted a walkathon to educate people about breast cancer and its possible preventive measures in connection with breast cancer awareness month.
Naseem Health Care in partnership with Lulu Group International, Nice Drinking Water and Real Coffee, conducted a walkathon event at Aspire Park on October 28.
The event was a grand success with enthusiastic participation received from over 400 people. The event was attended by Dr. Hadi Mohamad Abu Rasheed, the Head of Professional Development and Scientific Research Department at Qatar Cancer Society.
Cancer survivors including Fathea Adheir, Director of Pharmacy Services at Sidra Medicine, also participated in the event. Dr. Muneer Ali Ibrahim, GM of Naseem Healthcare said “The Walkathon is a stepping point towards raising awareness among both men and women of Qatar on breast cancer. Naseem Healthcare welcomes the active participation by Qatar residents.”
