DOHA: Mannai Corporation reported QR221m net profit on revenue of QR7.6bn for the nine month period ended 30 September 2018. The Company’s EBITDA for the nine month period ended 30, September 2018 rose by 33 per cent to QR 671m compared to QR506m last year.
While profit before finance costs increased by 12 per cent in the 9 month period, the overall net profit declined by 20 per cent, mainly due to increase in finance costs relating to acquisition funding and higher interest rates. Earnings per share stood at QR4.85.
In continuation of the Group’s strategy of diversifying its earnings the Group is in the process of acquiring the remaining 3.4 per cent stake in GFI before the end of the year.
