Doha, Qatar; Qatar basketball team were drawn in Group D with top Asian giants Japan, Republic of Korea and Indonesia in the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, which will run from September 23 to October 8 in Hangzhou, China.
Asian Games Basketball event will bring together 16 teams from across the continent to fight for top honors . Team Qatar are seeded in the 89th place of FIBA rankings (with 114,0 points) and in the 18th place of Asian rankings.
Team Qatar will begin Asian Games campaign against Japan on September 26, then shake hands with South Korea in the second game on September 28 before taking on Indonesia on September 30.
