Ooredoo reminded users travelling this Eid Al Adha about the many roaming features available through the popular Ooredoo App.
To ensure Ooredoo customers do not face high roaming charges, Ooredoo’s App contains a number of features, which allow travellers to monitor usage and see which networks to roam on when subscribed to Ooredoo Passport.
One of the great features available to travellers is being able to instantly see any remaining Passport balance by selecting their “preferred number” (which they can choose under the apps settings or by simply opening the app and pressing the aeroplane icon in the top left-hand corner of the app interface). While a subscriber is abroad, the main screen of the app will then change to display their passport balance.
Travellers not subscribed to an Ooredoo Passport Card can use the ‘top-up’ function in the Ooredoo App or subscribe to an Ooredoo Passport Pack by selecting their number and going to ‘add-ons’.
Before travelling, customers can see all the costs and options of roaming with Ooredoo by selecting the ‘Travelling’ tab, which displays the list of countries that the Ooredoo Passport service is available in, and see standard roaming rates per service in the country they are visiting and networks that are compatible with the Ooredoo Passport service. As well as via the app, Ooredoo customers using the Ooredoo Passport service can add the mobile app passport widget, to view their balance without needing to open the OoredooApp. The Ooredoo App is available for free download on Google Play or iTunes. For more information on the Ooredoo App e visit www.ooredoo.qa/app or text “APP” to 114 to download.
