Qatar padel team players and officials pose for a group photo after they received a warm welcome on their return to Doha after winning gold medal at the third GCC Games in Kuwait. Qatar won all their matches to win first-ever padel gold at the GCC Games.
Meanwhile, Khalid Hassanein clinched bronze medal in men’s 84kg kumite on the penultimate day of the Games yesterday. This is Qatar’s second medal in karate after Adham Hashem had won the bronze medal on Sunday. Team Qatar has won overall 49 medals including 14 gold, 20 silver and 15 bronze medals.
