London: The State of Qatar and the United Kingdom signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) related to providing explosives control equipment by the British side to enhance civil aviation security in Qatar.

The MoU was signed by President of the Civil Aviation Authority Abdullah bin Nasser Turki Al Subaey and Deputy Director for Aviation Security International Operations at the UK Department for Transport Kashif Chaudry.

The MoU provides for the development and strengthening of civil aviation security, through training on the awareness of the dangers caused by explosives. This MoU is a main addition to enhancing Qatar’s civil aviation security infrastructure in both practical and technical terms.
