DOHA: The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Centre (ROLACC) in Doha, in association with the University of Sussex in the UK, have announced that they are now accepting online applications for the LLM  in Corruption, Law and Governance, a Master’s degree programme certified by the University of Sussex.
Anyone wishing to apply can do so at http://www.sussex.ac.uk/study/masters/apply. The registration will remain open for all students of higher studies through the website until June.
The programme will begin in September 2018, taught part-time for two academic years at the ROLACC centre in Doha. It has been running since 2016, and has accepted around forty students from a range of fields and specializations. It is the first of its kind in the country, and provides a rigorous education in the current issues in corruption, law and governance. The course is not limited to those with a legal background.
The LLM in Corruption, Law and Governance provides knowledge and hands-on training on all corruption related fields including Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery, Compliance and Risk management. In addition, it contributes to the promotion of the UN Coalition Against Corruption (UNCAC) goals and the Qatar National Vision 2030.
